USA AVENGER is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, our yard is the second largest facility in this area with direct access to the ocean and only 10 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale International Airport. We have been at this location for 16 years. Our facility is situated on 15 acres of land with a large water basin and 65,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and construction buildings. We operate large environmentally compliant spray paint facilities and a 200 ton syncro lift(with a capacity to 36' beam) to dry-dock large vessels of all types. We currently have a staff of 65 highly skilled employees.
Our operations support:New designs, new build, repairs and retrofits of all aluminum catamarans and mono hull vessels.
We have an in-house computer based design capability with experience in various design standards including: ABS, Lloyd's, USCG, DOD-D-1000, MIL-STD-143, MIL-STD-490, DOD-STD-1476, ANSI Y14.5M and in Autocad 2000 format. Our design staff is headed up by two Naval Architects and supported by CAD station operators. All documentation is in computer format including manuals and training materials. Distribution of software materials can be either hard copy or digital formats. We are prepared to offer video conference progress meetings and to place a computer station at the designated customer site to offer "real time" drawing reviews and configuration control approvals.
We are currently constructing vessels with USCG approvals. Fabrication experience includes methods and procedures consistent with the requirements of AWS and ABS for weld joint design and welder qualifications. |
